We have the pleasure of hosting the Edinburgh International Harp Festival each year. This is an incredibly busy event that brings harp enthusiasts and the general public through Merchiston’s door at Easter. The EIHF celebrated their 25 th anniversary in 2006 with a record-breaking concert in the Memorial Hall where over 200 harps played at the same time!

“The magical setting of Merchiston Castle School and the unseasonably warm spring weather combined to create a truly special atmosphere at the 26th Edinburgh International Harp Festival in 2007
quote from Elaine Bruce on the EIHF website: www.harpfestival.co.uk

We look forward to seeing the EIHF back in 2008. Dates are from 28th March – 2nd April.
